Dedication

I dedicate this website and effort to my father, Vernon Mahadeo (August 18, 1935 – September 16, 2010).  He had the rare gift to put himself into the mind of a child; to see life through their eyes; and to feel with their hearts.  I thank God, that my two children were able to experience some of him.  I would forever treasure their afternoons in the front porch where they picked flowers, mixed them with water in containers with swizzle sticks and dhal gutneys, making ‘bird-food’ (yeah we all know birds don’t eat flowers); the front porch where they played school and Vernon was always the harden’ chile, getting all the licks and buffs; the front porch…
